WakePoint offers a competency-based rather than completion-based program. Therefore, in order to advance in the energy healing training program, students must meet all of the following requirements. |
| 1. All homework assignments must be completed, typewritten and turned in no later than the start date of the module for which they are assigned. 2. Students must be aware that becoming an energy healer requires a great deal of personal transformation work, and that it will be necessary to arrange private individual healing sessions outside of class. This extracurricular self-discovery work is essential to the development and personal support of the student. Therefore, in order to graduate, a minimum of fifty documented private healing sessions with a WakePoint graduate are required (either in person or by phone). 3. Knowledge of the structure and functioning of the human body is fundamental for precise healing abilities. In order to continue advancing into healership, before enrolling in Module 11, students are required to have completed extracurricular classes in Anatomy and Physiology. This training must be equivalent to one year (a minimum of 75 class hours) of a college level Anatomy & Physiology course. 4. In order to enroll in the more advanced Modules 11 through 15, students must have completed forty private healing sessions with a WakePoint faculty member or graduate, all previously assigned homework and Anatomy & Physiology requirements, passed all written exams with a grade of 75 or higher, and shown competence in all energy healing skills learned in Modules 1 through 10. Modules 11 through 15 are to be enrolled in as a group, rather than individual modules. 5. During the period of enrollment in the advanced Modules 11 through 15, students are required to continue receiving private outside healing sessions with a WakePoint graduate or faculty member. A minimum of ten private sessions must be received between attending Module 11 and Module 15. 6. There will also be homework assignments (including a Senior paper and case presentation), exams and skills evaluations given during enrollment in Modules 11 through 15 that must be passed in order to receive a completion certificate.
